It was a love story right out of a fairytale. It could have been perfect except there was no ‘Happily ever after’. The Roshans, Hrithik and Suzanne have finally split up after a 17 year long married life which saw two sons, Hridaan and Hrehaan. Although the reason for the split is not known, Hrithik issued a public statement confirming the news and urging everyone to be supportive and not lose trust in the institution of marriage. They were a perfect example of a successful marriage until Hrithik did not declare his separation from Suzanne. The couple were very much in love and at a party Hrithik smooched Suzanne.

Hrithik and Suzanne were teenage lovers, whose romance saw them in a big fat wedding in 2000. The thirteen year long marriage was mostly blissful with the couple being a perfect example of stable matrimony and good parents to their sons Hrehaan born in 2006 and Hridaan born in 2008. Labelled the hottest couple of Bollywood, they were photographed many times during their happy days while vacationing in Goa in 2009 or spending quality time with family or indulging in activities such as getting tattoos together. They had appeared as a couple on Koffee with Karan in January 2011 where they had much to share about their life and marital bliss. Their 10thwedding anniversary saw an extravagant celebration in Goa on December 10, 2010. It was attended by high profile Bollywood guests such as SRK, Gauri Khan and Preity Zinta.

These last few years saw them together at various occasions such as Fardeen and Natasha Khan;s wedding or to seeking blessings of Sri Bhagavan at Oneness University along with Pinky Roshan or seeking blessings at Hrithik’s maternal grandfather’s temple in Panvel, alongwith family. To celebrate Suzanne’s birthday, Hrithik threw a Halloween themed bash in the year 2010. Even at Kangana Ranaut’s birthday party in March 2013, nothing could be sensed amiss in the happy couple.

Daughter of veteran actor Sanjay Khan, Suzanne Khan is now heading her own interior firm called Charcoal Project. She has been living separately from Hrithik since the last three months. She made an extremely brief appearance at father in law Rakesh Roshan’s birthday in September, citing her father’s illness and kept an obvious distance from her husband. She was also absent from the Ganeshotsav celebrations in the Roshan family.

We do not know what the trouble is. Some say the actor’s closeness with his ‘Kites’ co-star, Barbara Mori initiated the rift in the relationship. Others say certain closeness between Suzanne and another actor has led to the decision to split.
