‘Jung Bahadur’ of Film ‘Basanti’, Niraj Thapa Found Dead
The actor who starred in the film Basanti directed by Nir Shah, Niraj Thapa died in Japan, as reported by FilmyUpdate.com. Heart attack is suspected to have been the cause of Thapa’s death.
Thapa, who had risen to prominence after he played the role of Jung Bahadur in Basanti, was found dead in Japan’s Yoyogi Park. Right upon the discovery, the locals called the police and ambulance.
The actor had moved to Japan 20 years ago. He also played the main negative role in the first Nepali cinema-scope film Maili.
