Harshika Shrestha started in Nepali movie industry as the lead actress of "Angalo yo Mayako" with Prashant Tamang as her opposite. Before the release of her debut movie, she was offered in roles in another movie "Mission Paisa Reloaded". After that she had acted in a number of other movies including Natiza, Karkash, Nagbeli, and Janzir.
Before starting acting in movies Harshika used to be an editor. While she was editing a television serial named ‘Samaya’ the director of "Angalo yo Mayako", Binod Sherang asked her to play in his movie.
In addition to working in movies, Harshika has also modeled for various advertisements and music videos.
